“Preach the Word; be ready in season and out of season…” II Timothy 4:2
This year our yard, my T-shirt, and the treats we’re giving out all have the same theme:
“SATAN’S WORST NIGHTMARE”
Happy All-Hallow’s Eve, everyone, and remember: Jesus is Lord every day – even October 31.
Prayer: Lord, help us never to shrink from sharing Your Good News at every opportunity. Even now, be preparing every person who will come to our door tonight, looking for something good. May they find Something – Someone – more wonderful than anything they could have imagined – YOU. And may we glorify You always, even when the enemy is working overtime, because we know You are the Victor, now and always, and in Your powerful name we pray. Amen.
That’s great. We have not had a trick or treater in 3 years…we are kind of in the sticks

We’ve been there, too, Gary. Enjoy a peaceful evening, and maybe say a prayer for those of us who will have lots of visitors tonight. 😉

I love the message you’re sharing with your little visitors on All-Hallow’s Eve! Let’s pray that next year at this time His Word will spread like wildfire.

Yaaaa!! My mom always orders Halloween themed evangelical tracks to pass out on Halloween, of course alongside a bowl of candy too!!

I staple them to the candy, so the parents don’t think their kids got tracts INSTEAD OF candy. 😉🙄

Annie, we had more trick-or-treaters than usual; no comments on the message we attached to the candy we handed out: “Jesus is the light that banishes all darkness. Happy All Hallows Eve!” Sometimes, however, the comments have come later–even much later!
